An intimate 3-day, 2-night camping festival where the Santa Cruz Mountain redwoods transform into an immersive autumn fantasy world of art, music, workshops, storytelling, and shared experiences.
As autumn settles over the forest and the nights grow longer, the Everywhen village gathers one more time before winter. Creatures Come Out at Night celebrates the changing season through art, costume, music, storytelling, creative participation, and time together beneath the redwoods.
Come in costume or come as you are. Choose a creature, invent one, or simply come meet the village. Creatures may emerge from mythology, folklore, the natural world, or your own imagination. They can be playful, mysterious, beautiful, strange, or entirely new.
Hello, Phantasia
At the center of the fall edition is Phantasia, an immersive art realm hidden within the redwood grove. Installations, light, sound, performance, and handmade environments will transform this part of the forest into a world of its own.
Phantasia will remain alive from day into night. In daylight, the shaded grove will already feel separate from the world outside. As dusk arrives, lanterns will glow, artworks will change character, music will move through the trees, and creatures will begin to roam.

Throughout the weekend, artists, musicians, facilitators, and community members will lead live performances, hands-on workshops, personal practices, group sessions, and interactive experiences.
Listen to music beneath the redwoods. Dance. Make something. Learn a skill. Join a conversation. Explore a new practice. Contribute to an artwork. Meet someone you might not otherwise encounter.
The Creatures Parade will bring the village together in a joyful procession of costumes, masks, lanterns, live music, puppets, and invented beings. Walk in the parade, perform in it, help build it, or cheer from the path as it moves through the forest.
Gather around the Table
On Saturday night, the village comes together for the Soirée, one of Everywhen’s most cherished traditions: a celebratory dinner beneath the redwoods.
You’ll be seeing familiar faces return to the table, welcoming new friends into the circle, and watching separate parts of the village become one gathering. We dress up, share food, trade stories, and celebrate the artists, builders, facilitators, volunteers, and guests who brought the weekend to life.
